ARMY Technical Officer are currently at the scene of a security alert in north Belfast.
It follows the discovery of a suspect object – described as a “crude looking device” was found at a house on the Oldpark Road.
Police say that the Oldpark Road is closed at its junction with the Cliftonville Road while ATO examine the device.
A military bomb disposal robot has been sent it to relay video footage back to a nearby ATO team.
This morning’s alert comes less than a week after an under car booty trap bomb was found in nearby Linden Gardens.
It fell off the underside of a car belonging to a member of the security forces.
