DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit have arrested two men as part of an investigation into dissident republican terrorism.

Police have said the pair – aged 35 and 47- were arrested in west Belfast and Derry on Saturday morning under section 41 of the Terrorist Act.

Two properties were also searched as part of the investigation.

The men have been taken to the new custody suite at Musgrave police station for questioning.
