THUG ROBS MAN OF CASH IN EARLY MORNING ROBBERY

PSNIDETECTIVES are appealing for information following the report of a robbery this morning.

It happened at Circular Road in Coleraine.

Detective Constable Timoney said: “It was reported to police that at around 10 am, a male business owner who had parked his car on his way to lodge takings in the bank, was pushed over as he got out of his car and had a sum of money stolen.

“The male suspect was described as being around 6’ tall and was of muscular build.

“I appeal to anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious, witnessed the incident or has any information to contact police at Coleraine on the non emergency number 101 or alternatively on Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
