DETECTIVES investigating UDA mob attacks have detained a fresh suspect.

Chief Inspector Mark McClarence has confirmed that detectives in Coleraine investigating loyalist paramilitary activity in the North West area have arrested a man aged 53 in the Bushmills area this morning.

The man has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

One recent incident in Coleraine is being treated as attempted murder.
