DRIVER IN SERIOUS CONDITION FOLLOWING CRASH

policeroadclosedA man is in a serious condition in hospital with a head injury.

His injuries were sustained after the vehicle in which he was travelling left the road at around 7 pm on the Craigstown Road, Randalstown, Co Antrim last night.

Craigstown Road has been closed to traffic.

Officers from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit are at the scene trying to establish how the accident happened.

Five people have died on Northern Ireland’s roads this year already compared to nine for the same period in 2014.
