A56-year-old man is due in court this morning charged over the seizure of £180,000 worth cocaine which was found during the search of a house in north Belfast.
The man was arrested after the house at Kilcoole Park was searched at about 6 pm on Friday during a planned search by detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch.
Other items, including a number of mobile phones, were also seized.
The man has been charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and the production of class A drugs.
He has also been charged with possessing class A controlled drugs with intent to supply and possession of a class C controlled drug.
The suspect is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court later this morning for a first remand hearing.
