WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR IN EAST BELFAST COLLISION

POLICE ACCIDENT 2POLICE are urging witnesses to come forward after after a woman was struck by a car in east Belfast this morning.

The 30-year-old victim was taken to the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald.

The incident happened at around 7.30 am on Templemore Avenue.

However, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The PSNI say she was struck by a white Fiat Punto near the Castlereagh Street junction, after the vehicle turned onto Templemore Avenue from Castlereagh Street.

Police are asking witnesses to contact them at Strandtown police station on the 101 non-emergency number.
