THE PSNI say officers in south Belfast arrested six people for burglary and one male for armed robbery last night.
The arrests were linked to three different incidents.
A 37 year old male and a 24 year old male were arrested for burglary in relation to an incident in Cromwell Road.
One 18 year old male and an 18 year old female, a 17 year old male and a 16 year old male were arrested in relation to a further incident in Cromwell Road.
A 29 year old male was arrested in the Elgin Street area for armed robbery.
It followed the robbery of a coffee shop on the Ormeau Road around 11 pm.
A spokesman said: “This was another busy night for officers in the University area.”
