The bodey of missing Marc Mackay found in Portrush

THE body of a missing man has been found in Portrush. 

It was discovered on Wednesday evening.

However, at this stage, police are not treating the death as suspicious.

The body has yet to be formally identified.

The PSNI believe it may be missing person Marc Mackay, from Dungannon, Co Tyrone.

The 24-year-old was last seen in the harbour area of Portrush at around 1 am on Sunday, 3 August.

Police had issued a picture of him and an appeal for anyone with information to contact them.
