A 17-year-old girl has been left critically injured following a crash.
Police say that two cars collided on the Slaughterford Road in Whitehead shortly before 21:00 BST on Monday night.
The teenager was a passenger in one of the cars.
A 39-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were taken to hospital for injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
The Slaughterford Road remains closed on this morning as officers from the PSNI’s Collision Investigation Unit examine the scene.
Police have appealed for witnesses them on the non-emergency 101 number.
The accident comes just 24 hours after an 18 year old was killed on the road to Portaferry in Co Down.
