POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fire at a house.

A spokesperson said a car, house and garage were severely damaged after a blaze took hold at around 2.30am in the Millbrook Drive area of Ballynahinch, Co Down.

Fire crews were tasked to the scene and put out the blaze.

Police said they are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on the non-emergency 101 number.
