POLICE are advising motorists are seek an alternative route following a serious one vehicle crash in west Belfast this morning.

As a result the of the crash, the Upper Springfield Road has been closed.

The road has been closed in both directions between Hannahstown Hill and the Monagh Bypass.

The emergency services are at the scene.
