A man in his 20s has died following a single vehicle crash in west Belfast this morning.
The accident happened just after 8 am on the Upper Springfield Road while the man was driving his red Peugeot 406 estate car.
Police advising motorists are seek an alternative route following the accident.
As a result the of the crash, the Upper Springfield Road has been closed.
The road has been closed in both directions between Hannahstown Hill and the Monagh Bypass.
The emergency services are at the scene.
The PSNI have appealed for any witnesses to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
