Despite the unpredictable weather Northern Ireland expects over the summer months, one thing is certain as Bespoke’s fabulous styles will have clients feeling hot! hot! hot! this season when they visit the salons on Belfast’s Belmont Road and University Road.
Speaking of the launch of the collection, creative director John Morrison said: “At Bespoke we want to ensure our clients step into summer with confidence and feeling ready for the holiday season, whether they spend it home or abroad.
“The collection offers a mixture of both softer and stronger styles which can be translated, with our step by step guide, into a variety of looks depending on the occasion, be it a wedding, BBQ, big night out or a day at the races.” he continued.
To ensure customers can maintain the style Bespoke is sharing the secrets behind three of the collection’s hair trends so that customers can create their own summer hair.
Soft long blonde curls – To achieve the look, wash hair in a volumising shampoo and deep nourishing conditioner to repair any damage from colour processing, then spritz a volume tonic spray on the mid-lengths and ends, either a curl enhancing product or a light hold mousse.
Blow-dry with a large round brush and set with Velcro or heated rollers, the longer they are left in the greater the hold. Dress the hair out with a tiny amount of serum, shake loose all the movement and spray with a firm hold hairspray.
For more of a catwalk inspired look, smooth hair down into a middle parting with a large paddle brush, Mason Pearson is the best, through to the mid-lengths leaving all the curl on the ends.
Sleek & Straight – Shampoo and condition with shine and smoothing products, apply a straightening or smoothing balm and a dray remedy oil. Blow-dry straight with a large round brush and then apply a heat protecting spray before smoothing down further with a large salon size hair straighteners, finish with a light smoothing serum and light hold hairspray.
Long light brown curls – Shampoo and condition in purifying and shine enhancing products, apply smoothing products to roots and mid-lengths and curl enhancing to the ends. Blow-dry smooth with a Mason Pearson brush then using a wand, curl mid-lengths and ends, lightly tousle out curls and freeze them with a strong hold hairspray.
