WOMAN LEFT SHAKEN DURING WEST BELFAST CARJACKING

Ardmore PSNI stationDETECTIVES are appealing for information following a car hijacking in the Hawthorne Street area of west Belfast on Saturday night.

Shortly before 9pm, a woman was pulled from a black Peugeot 3008 by a man described as tall and wearing a hat and dark clothing.

The man made off in the car which is thought to have been driven past Queen’s University later the same night.

The woman was not physically harmed during the incident but is said to be shaken up as a result of the hijacking.

Anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone with any information is asked to contact detectives on 0845 600 8000.
