THE PSNI are treating as a “hate crime” an early morning attack on a house in north Belfast.

A man in the house informed police that around 2 am on Sunday morning that a number of windows at the property in Deacon Street had been smashed.

However, none of the occupants at home at the time were injured during the attack.

Police in north Belfast have appealed for anyone who spotted any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
