Pair to face Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday with supplying Class A drugs

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch have charged two people with possession with Class A drugs with intent to supply.

The 32-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman are due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The charges follow the seizure of a quantity of a quantity of ‘Ecstasy’ tablets in Waringstown, Co Down, on Friday night.

Police say the drugs cache has has an estimated street value of £50,000.

The arrests and seizure of illegal drugs followed a surveillance operation by detectives.
