DETECTIVES have charged a man over two armed robberies and two attempted armed robberies in north Belfast earlier this week.
A shop and an off licence were robbed while attempts were made to hold up a restaurant and a shop.
All four incidents happened on the Crumlin Road area on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old further charged with one count of robbery and and one count of possession of an offensive weapon with intent.
These offences relate to an incident which happened on the Crumlin Road in April 2012.
The suspect was charged on Wednesday night at Musgrave Street PSNI station.
He is to face Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning.
