STORMY WEATHER HITS STENA LINE FERRY CROSSINGS

STENA SUPERFAST VII 22.5.12 Belfast c Frank Lose_DSC6607 EDITSTORM force winds have forced the cancellation of ferry crossings between Northern Ireland and Scotland.

Stena Line say the 11.30 pm sailing on Monday night, December 23, has been cancelled because of the conditions at sea.

The company says the next scheduled sailing on the Belfast-Cairnryan route will not be until 3.30 pm on December 24, Christmas Eve.

However, a spokesperson said may be subject to change due to weather conditions which has gone from a ‘yellow warning’ to an ‘amber warning’
