DETECTIVES investigating a fire bomb attack on a Belfast city centre shop this week have arrested a 50-year-old man.
He was detained at an address in west Belfast on Saturday morning.
The botched fire bomb bid happened around 6.40 pm at the Golf Madness store in Cornmarket.
A man burst into flames in the shop after the device detonated prematurely..
He ran off with his clothes on fire through and a brave member of staff lifted the firebomb off the counter and put it out on the street.
The suspected is currently being questioned at the serious crime suite in Antrim under the Terrorism Act.
