CO DOWN CRASH: TENTH MOTORBIKE RIDER TO DIE IN 2013

Police accidentNORTHERN Ireland’s roads has claimed its tenth motorcycle victim of 2013.

A 24-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Sunday.

Four motorbike riders were killed in the whole of 2012.

Sunday’s accident happened on the Katesbridge Road in Moneyslane.

The road had been closed for a time as the scene was examined but has now reopened.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.

The PSNI in Banbridge have appealed for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
