Police appeal over armed robbery at north Belfast shop

DETECTIVES in north Belfast have appealed for information after a shop worker was left shaken during an armed hold up.

The worker was threatened with a knife during an armed robbery of a shop around 5.30 pm on Friday evening.

A PSNI spokesperson said the robber entered the store on the Crumlin Road store and threatened staff with a knife.

He fled on foot with a sum of cash.
