The area was sealed off on Friday afternoon following reports that a suspicious object had been left at Drumilly Road in Loughgall, Co Armagh.
Army technical officers with explosive sniffer dogs carried out searches in the area but nothing was found.
Police have now reopened the Drumilly Road at its junctions with the Portadown Road and the Drumanmore Road.
Anyone who notices anything suspicious in the area is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000.
