A SECURITY alert is underway in Glengormley.
Police and Army technical officers are at the scene of the alert in Sandyknowes Crescent , just off the Sandyknowes rounabout.
It follows the discovery of a suspicious object.
As a result, police have closed Sandyknowes Crescent and diversions are in place.
