POLICE and up to 40 fire fighters are the scene of a huge blaze at a shop in Belfast city centre on Friday morning.
Fire crews received a 999 call just after 5 am.
The alarm was raised by a passing PSNI patrol who spotted the fire at B and M Bargains shope in Rosemary Street, just off Royal Avenue.
Around ten fire appliances from across Belfast are currently at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said that firefighters are still trying to stop the blaze from spreading to other buildings.
