Hannah McQuillan (11) is spooked out by a visit to the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum (UFTM) ahead of Northern IrelandÂ’s jam-packed programme of Halloween events. The Northern Ireland Tourist Board (NITB) is encouraging everyone to have a bewitching time this year with lots of frightful fun in store for all the family including spooky candy making, a haunted castle, fancy dress competitions and many spectacular fireworks displays, all happening right across Northern Ireland. The UFTM is getting ready to welcome witches, ghosts and ghouls on October 31 with its Halloween Family Festival, while the Navan Centre will be hosting a Halloween Horror event with storytelling, a wooded walk, a Victorian mind reader and a fancy dress competition and UK City of Culture Derry~Londondery will be holding a week long programme of fun with ghost walks, fireworks, spooky storytelling.
