Police in Newtownabbey hunting two men who robbed a pensioner of cash

AN ELDERLY man has been left badly shaken after he was robbed by two men at his Newtownabbey home.

The men called at the pensioner’s home at Hillview Park around 7 pm on Friday.

The victim, in his 70s, answered the door to the men who said they knew him and walked inside.

They later left after stealing a sum of money.

Police in Newtownabbey have appealed for anyone with for information about the robbery to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
