Police in Downpatrick appeal for help over an unprovoked assault on a male

POLICE have renewed their appeal for information over a brutal assault.

A man was the victim of an unprovoked attack in Downpatrick’s Market Street around 11.30 pm on Wednesday, October 2.

He was taken to hospital with head injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the PSNI in Downpatrick on 0845 600 8000 and asked for extension 32000.
