A CRUISE ship struck down with a stomach bug among passengers has berthed again in Belfast.
The MS Boudicca will undergo a deep clean and sanitisation programme while docked in Belfast.
Once the programme is finished the ship will then set sail again sometime later on Thursday for a cruise around the Canary Islands and Portugal.
Around 72 passengers out of just over 760 on board have come down with a gastroentroitis bug.
Symptoms of the 48 hour illness include sudden vomiting and even diarrhoea.
Some passengers have reported having high temparatures, headaches and stomach cramps.
The Fred Olsen cruise liner, the Boudicca, left Belfast on Monday, September 23, for a 10-night ‘Scandinavian Cities Cruise’.
