Police call off search for missing Polish fisherman Jaroslaw Andrykiewicz

THE PSNI has called off the search for a missing Polish fisherman who fell rocks last month and swept out to sea.

Police, coastguards and fishing vessels had been searching Jaroslaw Andrykiewicz.

The 38-year-old man vanished while fishing with pals at Ramore Head in Portrush on Saturday, September 14.

The Polish national and father of one child had lived in Northern Ireland for the past six years.

He worked as a supervisor in a vegetable production company in County Armagh.

Several members of his family had travelled to NI during the search, including his mother and brother.

They received help and support the Polish community along with his Gilfresh Produce employers in Loughgall.
