Man to face Lisburn Magistrates Court over sex abuse offences against a number of women

DETECTIVES have charged a 57-year-old man with a number of serious sexual offences.

He is further accused of false imprisonment.

The suspect is to face Lisburn Magistrates Court later on Saturday when the charges will be put to him.

It is understood the charges relate to a criminal probe into allegations of neglect and abuse against two adult women.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in the Craigavon area of Co Armagh over a number of years.
