Three men convicted at Belfast Magistrates Court of a number of fishery offences

THREE men have been convicted and fined at Belfast Magistrates Court for a number of fishery offences.

Matthew Millar from Mount Vernon Park, Belfast was convicted of fishing by unlicenced and unfair means and unauthorised entry on a several fishery.

Mr Millar received a conditional discharge of 12 months and was fined costs of £100 and court costs of £16.

Justin Gormley, of Mulderg Drive, Belfast was convicted of impeding a person exercising his powers and retention of fish in excess of maximum number permitted

Mr Gormley received a conditional discharge of 12 months and was fined costs of £50 and court costs of £16.

David Thompson from Laragh Court, Newtownabbey was convicted of the same offences.

Mr Thompson received a conditional discharge of 12 months and was fined costs of £50 and court costs of £16.
