The 29-year-old victim was walking in the vicinity of Balkan Street/Leeson Street in the Falls Road district around 9 pm on Tuesday night.

A car pulled up alongside and three men grabbed him and forced him inside.

The dissident gang then drove him to Downfine Walk in the Turf Lodge area.

He was taken out of the car and shot twice in both legs.

The victim was later taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital for treatment.
