POLICE in Derry are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a “hit and run” incident in the city in which a parked car sustained “considerable” damage.

A PSNI spokesperson said the investigating officer in the case was keen to identify the driver of a dark coloured Range Rover that collided with a parked car on Spencer Road around 8.30pm on Friday last, 13 September.

The spokesperson added: “The parked car sustained considerable damage to the passenger side doors, and front and back wing.”

The spokesperson said anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or a member of their local Neighbourhood Team directly – details of which can be found on the PSNI website.

Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
