Police in south Belfast probe thefts from house parties in Holylands district

THE PSNI is hunting thieves who made rich pickings in south Belfast last night.

Officers were making calls in the Holylands district on Tuesday morning to follow up complaints of anti-social behaviour by students.

Now they have revealed that a television and a phone were stolen during house parties on Monday night.

Police have advised residents to be careful who they let into their homes and also to check if anything is missing.
