GARDAI in Donegal have sealed off a house after a suspicious device was found at the rear of the dwelling.
The house in the Inishowen area was cordoned off after the owner noticed the device earlier today.
Gardai have placed a white security tape across the road outside the house.
Irish Defence Force bomb have been tasked to the scene.
It is still not clear if the device is a hoax or a viable device.
The house where the find has been made is about a mile outside Gleneely in the townland of Carrow.
A farmyard next to the house has also been sealed off.
An eye-witness said there are up to six Gardai at the scene.
“We don’t really know what has happened but one neighbour has said that something has been left at the back of the house.
“We don’t know what it is but the Gardai are here and the area is being examined,” he said.
