Police arrest a teenager in Lisburn for throwing a petrol bomb at a PSNI vehicle

POLICE have arrested a teenager over a petrol bomb attack in County Antrim.

The 18-year-old was arrested after a petrol bomb was thrown at a police vehicle around 7 pm on Thursday night.

The vehicle was patrolling the Belfast Road in Lisburn at the time. The petrol bomb did not damage the vehicle but landed on the road beside it.

The man was arrested and is being questioned about the attack at Lisburn police station.
