THE final countdown is underway for fans of BBC show The Apprentice.
And Lord Alan Sugar will decided at the end whether to fire or hire Northern Ireland contestant Leah Totton or Luisa Zissiman.
Derry-born doctor Leah Totton, 24, and Luisa Zissman, 25, from St Albans, Hertforshire, go head to head in the series climax.
Throughout the series they have designed and made their own flat-pack furniture, ready meals and internet dating campaigns.
For the final, the pair will be reunited with the 14 other candidates.
Leah hopes to win the title with her business plan to offer anti-ageing skin treatments including chemical peels and dermal fillers at a chain of clinics where she hopes to raise the standards of the beauty industry with her medical credentials.
However, she faces tough competition from cake shop boss Luisa.
Her business idea is a wholesale firm catering to the baking market with cake tins and utensils.
But not everything in the final task runs smoothly and goes to plan.
Both hopefuls then have to pitch to 100 industry experts as well as their potential business partner Lord Sugar and his trusted aides.
One of them will be crowned series nine winner and hear the words: “You’re hired” from Lord Sugar.
He will invest £250,000 in the winner’s business.
The Apprentice is on BBC 1 Northern Ireland at 8pm on Wednesday.
