Police probe £10k metal theft from west Belfast home

DETECTIVES are investigating after around £10,000 of metal and other items were stolen from a vacant house in west Belfast.

Thieves removed the heating system from the property on Groganstown Road in Dunmurry.

They also took:

* lead from the roof;

* oil from the tank.

* an external oil pump;

* and radiators taken down from walls but were not taken away.

The burglary significant water damage to the ground and first floor.

Detectives want to speak to anyone who seen any suspicious activity at the property between 28 June and 4 July or anyone with any other information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
