Police in east Belfast probe £6,500 theft from brain injury charity

BURGLARS stole equipment worth £6,500 from an east Belfast charity that helps to rehabilitate people with a brain injury.

The break-in took place at Reconnect’s base on the Lisnabreeny Road in Castlereagh.

A generator, trailer and other items were stolen sometime between Thursday and Friday morning.

The police are appealing for information to contact officers in Castlereagh on 0845 600 8000.
