Police appeal over assault on teenager in Antrim town

DETECTIVES are investigating after a teenager was badly beaten in Antrim town.

The 15-year-old was standing on Hall’s Bridge at around 3.45pm on Wednesday when two men approached and and started hitting him around the face.

The victim was taken to hospital with a laceration below his eye and other cuts and bruises.

Police said the attackers were aged around 17 or 18.

One is said to have had short black hair and a tanned complexion and wore a blue tracksuit.

The second attacked had spiked light brown hair and was wearing a light blue tracksuit with a grey hoodie underneath.
