Students interrupt proceedings at Stormont on Tuesday

STUDENT protestors on Tuesday interrupted the Northern Ireland Assembly.

Six young people dressed in jeans and hoodies burst into the public gallery.

They heckled the Alliance Party’s Employment and Learning Minister Stephen Farry while he was speaking and shouted “do not cut our EMA”.

However, order was quickly restored and the group were ejected from chamber.

Police were called and took their names.
