Police seize £6,500 worth of drugs during Co Down raids

POLICE have seized over £6,500 worth of drugs during planned raids in Co Down.

Officers from Armagh and Lurgan Crime Teams conducted searchs in the Kilkeel and Cranfield of south Down on Thursday.

Cannabis resin, herbal cannabis and suspected ecstasy were found.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and possession with intent to supply.

He has now been released on bail pending further enquiries.
