Penguins feeling right at home in Belfast Zoo

BELFAST Zoo is currently closed due to the adverse weather conditions, say Belfast City Council. 

The zoo – perched up on the Cavehill Mountains overlooking Belfast and its lough – is expected to open again next Thursday, April 4.

Some of the worst weather conditions have been in the hills around Glengormley, Carnmoney, Hightown and Newtownabbey over the past week.
