FRIDAY night’s game between Northern Ireland v Russia at Windsor Park has been switched to Saturday because of the heavy snow fall.

It followed a pitch inspection at Windsor Park on Friday afternoon by the referee and officials from the IFA and Russian Football Federation.

Following agreement between all sides, the game has now been moved to 3 pm on Saturday, March 23.

As a result all scheduled Danske Bank Irish Premier League matches have been cancelled.

The Windsor Pasrk pitch appears to frozen under the snow and there is also health and safety concerns about conditions on the terraces at Windsor Park.

An Army of people are now at the ground trying to clear the snow from the pitch.
