Police appeal for help in tracking down south Belfast teen robbers

DETECTIVES are hunting two teenagers who robbed a supermarket in south Belfast.

The pair walked into shop in Cromac Place near the Markets district around 5.15 pm on Thursday.

One male armed with a hammer threatened a member of staff.

The pair later fled towards McAuley Street with cash and cigarettes.

The robbers are thought to be in their late teens and were both wearing hooded tops.

The employee was not injured but was left badly shaken.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to ring detectives at Musgrave Street PSNI station on 0845 600 8000.
