Real IRA masked terrorist reads out statement in Derry at Easter last year

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch have charged three men with helping to arrange a meeting addressed by members of the banned Real IRA.

The trio, aged 50, 42 and 27 are due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

They were arrested earlier this week by police investigating terrorism offences in Derry city cemetery at the Easter commemoration in April last year.

The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
