Police close roads in south Belfast over security alert

POLICE are at the scene of a security alert in south Belfast.

Army technical officers have been tasked to the scene at the Broadway/ Glenmachen Street area following the discovery of a suspicious object.

Diversions are in place at the roundabout at Tate’s Avenue and Boucher Road.

Traffic is not allowed onto Glenmachen Street.
