LINFIELD have been dealt a series of injuries blows ahead of their home game on Saturday to Portadown.

Manager David Jeffries told Linfield FC.com: “Alan Blayney is out with a finger injury. Johnny Black remains out with a toe injury. Both are making progress, albeit gradual.

Matthew Tipton remains out with a hamstring injury. Philip Lowry is suspended but he probably couldn’t have played anyway, due to a groin injury.

“Niall Quinn had to be carried off at the Oval last week. He’s continuing to use crutches and it could be several weeks before he’s fully fit.

“Furthermore, Brian McCaul felt a very tight hamstring after last Saturday and so he too, will be unavailable.
