Police investigating accident outside Belfast Central Station

THREE men are in hospital following a one vehicle collision in east Belfast.

Two pedestrians are in a critical condition in the intensive care unit with serious head injuries after they were knocked down at East Bridge Street outside the Central train station.

A third man is also being treated and a police spokesman said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The road was closed on Friday night while police investigators examined the scene.

Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
